Each government agency has different procedures and timelines. Depending on the agency and the type of claim, it can take as little as 90 - 120 days from the filing date to receive the funds. At the moment we are seeing the process is taking a little longer than normal due to Covid-19.

When a property is sold at auction, sometimes it sells for more than what is owed to creditors and lien holders. We believe the difference should go back to the homeowner or their heirs.
